๐บ๏ธ Directions from AirportFrom the station, head up towards the town centre. Follow Calle Antonio Machado, then turn onto Calle Los Verdiales. Number 14 is on the right-hand side โ about a 10-minute walk from the station. Use the Maps button if you get turned around.

Enter code 1278 on the keypad by the gate. The gate will click open โ push it and step into the garden.
At the front door keypad, enter 123456 (the first 6 digits of your phone number) and press the โ check mark button. Wait until you hear the lock turn, then push the door open.
Always push the front door properly closed behind you when coming in. It needs a firm push to latch fully.
When leaving, pull the front door properly closed behind you. Press the lock button on the door panel and listen for the door to lock. Do the same for the back door.

Common questions about how things work in the house
Enter code 123456 on the door keypad and press the โ button. Wait for the lock to click, then push the door firmly open. Always pull it fully closed behind you when leaving and press the lock button.
Push the knob for your chosen burner and turn it to the desired level. Hold for 2โ3 seconds until the flame ignites. If it doesn't catch, release, wait a few seconds, and try again.
The remote is on the coffee table in the living room. Press the power button, then use the up/down arrows to set the temperature (we recommend 22โ24ยฐC). Please turn it off when you leave the house.
Find the washing machine in the back patio behind the bamboo curtain. Detergent is on top of the machine โ use one capful. Select a 40ยฐC cycle for most clothes. Press start and close the patio door.
Turn the handle to the left for hot water. Wait about 30 seconds for it to heat up โ the boiler is always on. Turn fully clockwise to off when finished.
The TV remote is on the sideboard. Press the power button. Use the input/source button to switch between the Smart TV apps and HDMI. Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify are already logged in โ feel free to use them.
You can park on the street anywhere around the house โ it's free and there's usually space nearby. If you can't find a spot on the street, there's a parking field just 3 minutes' walk away.
If street parking is hard to find, use the open parking area just 3 min walk from the house. Free or low-cost. Easy access.

No-frills fried fish counter on the seafront. Cone of fresh boquerones or calamari for โฌ3. Eat standing or grab a bench. Cash only.
Speciality coffee in a tiled courtyard. Try the cafรฉ bombรณn โ espresso with condensed milk, a Mรกlaga classic. Great pastries from the bakery next door.
The best beach in Torremolinos โ calm water, great chiringuito beach bars, and a relaxed fishing-village feel. Less touristy than Bajondillo.

One of Spain's largest water parks โ giant slides, wave pool, and lazy river. Book online to save โฌ5โ10 on the gate price.
30 min by train. Picasso Museum, Alcazaba fortress, Atarazanas market. Walk Calle Larios and eat in the covered market. A must-do.
Beautiful marina with yachts and waterfront restaurants. Walk the promenade from Carihuela (~45 min) or take a short bus. Perfect for sunset drinks.

Bar Terraza Vista Mar โ Lovely sunset bar on the seafront promenade. Perfect for early-evening cocktails as the sun drops. The sangria is excellent. Gets busy around 7pm.
Cรณctel & Co. โ Stylish rooftop cocktail bar with creative Spanish-twist drinks. Smart-casual dress code on weekends. Get there before 11pm for a terrace seat.
La Nogalera is one of Spain's most established LGBTQ+ districts โ a welcoming grid of bars, clubs, and terraces. Charlie's Bar and Parthenon are crowd favourites. Gets going after midnight.
Kebab & Pizza on Calle San Miguel โ open until 4am, popular after clubs. Also look for the churros van near the main square around midnight on weekends. Cash preferred.
Maskom is the nearest supermarket โ about 5 min walk. Good selection, reasonable prices. Also a small convenience shop closer for essentials.

Restaurants facing the beach on Calle San Miguel often serve poor quality at tourist prices. Walk one street back and prices drop 40% with much better food.
โฌ1.80 vs โฌ20+ for a taxi. The C1 Cercanรญas goes directly under the airport terminal. Tap your bank card at the turnstile and go. Allow 30 min total.
Small beach bars, street food stalls, and local markets often prefer cash or don't take cards. There's a Caixabank ATM nearby.
Lunch is 2โ4pm, dinner starts at 9pm. Arriving at a restaurant at 7pm you'll eat alone. Embrace the rhythm โ it makes the whole day feel more relaxed.
Walk to the far end of the Carihuela promenade past the old fishermen's houses. There's a small rocky viewpoint with unobstructed views west. Absolutely magic at golden hour.
